Trusted AI Systems (“TAS”) collects personal information through this website, the intake assessment, newsletter signup, and email. This page explains what we collect and where it is processed.
Who we are

What we collect
- Intake and booking requests: name, email, phone, business details, and answers you submit.
- Newsletter: email address, after you opt in (CASL).
- Technical logs needed to run the site, including error reports.
Where data is stored
TAS is a Canadian business. Client production systems we build for customers are designed to keep those customers’ data on Canadian infrastructure. This website and its intake path use some processors hosted in the United States. That is a disclosure of where processing happens — not a claim that PIPEDA legally requires Canadian hosting.
- Hostinger — this website, the Node API, and MySQL
- Resend — transactional and newsletter email
- Google — calendar booking, when that integration is turned on

We use personal information to respond to your request, run the assessment, and — if you opt in — send email updates. We do not sell your information. You can ask to see or correct information we hold about you, or withdraw newsletter consent, by emailing info@trustedaisystems.io.
How long we keep it
If you become a TAS client, records connected to that engagement (contracts, invoices, financial records) are retained for six years, consistent with CRA record-keeping requirements.
If you contact us or use our intake process but do not become a client, we retain that information for up to six months to follow up. If nothing has progressed after six months, that information is deleted, no later than twelve months from initial contact.
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we retain your email address for as long as you remain subscribed. You can unsubscribe at any time, at which point your information is removed.
